With SDI the image is better or not?!

I own a Sony DVP-NS900 dvd player and I'm trying to understand if the SDI mod would change the vision for my Electrohome 4100 proj and (my future...) Crystalio. Would you please tell me if the improvement is significant or not? Now I use Svideo (not component that I think is terrible with the Sony 900).
