Digital Ouput on Xcard

Hi,

I'm considering the PDI Deluxe + Xcard combo but I wan't to check if the digital audio out on the Xcard can handle 7.1 and 6.1 sound?

If it doesn't is there some way to re-direct the sound to an M-Audio Revo?

Yes, the digital output on the Xcard will put out compressed dolby Digital/DTS signal, be it DDEX or DTSES. Its function is the same as the digital output on Revo 7.1. You only have to make sure your preamp processor or receiver can decode 6.1 or 7.1 signals.
