Hi

I've connected my projector to the DVI out of my ATI Radeon 9000 Pro Graphics card. Despite displaying the desktop fine, whenever I fire up DScaler, I get no output from Dscaler on my projector - just a black window. That's despite the fact the video source from DScaler displays perfectly on my monitor. Can this be fixed at all? I fiddled around with overlay controls a bit, (not knowing what to do) but to no avail.

Just to update, I found a solution of sorts - by ticking "extend my desktop onto this monitor". Not ideal, as I wanted to be able to view DScaler on my monitor and projector simultaneously, but it will do I suppose :)

Hmm, surprised no one have answered your question, since the solution is pretty simple

Well, better late than never :)

Solution:
You just have to select your projector as your primary display device, under the ATI driver options. Then your monitor will go black instead. After watching the movie, you just switch back again.
This is how I'm doing it anyways.

Hope it helps :)
