Now that the main manual is out, when will the RS232 manual be available?

We are still in the design phase of C2 RS232 protocol. Will need a little more time.

Does this mean that RS232 control will not be available in the V1.0 firmware?

If you are still in the design phase please can I make a request to keep it simple.
In my career with industrial automation I have seen too many programming hours consumed in implementing unnecessarily complex protocols. I have also never observed an error on a RS232 connection that is within the cable specification. In my opinion it is therefore not necessary to use a checksum as even if there is an error nothing catastrophic would happen.
If you insist on using a checksum please use a standard one that can be easily implemented by control systems like Crestron.

Sorry that RS232 control will not be available in the V1.00 firmware.

Thanks Jason. Any chance that it will appear in the V2.0 firmware. I have a crestron solution and I'd prefer to use RS232 to control the Crystalio II.

I see. I'll try.
